Who Uses AVMs?
AVMs are increasingly used nationwide by individuals, real estate agents, financial institutions, property managers, professional tax consultants, and government agencies to establish a property’s current value. A reliable current value is needed to buy or sell, grant a mortgage, protest a property’s tax assessment, or to verify loan security values. The advantage of AVMs is that they can be obtained immediately; they cost very little, and can be ordered directly by the user.
